On the other hand, attackers can use AI to create more convincing phishing messages, automate hacking attempts, develop malware, and analyze stolen data to find weaknesses more quickly.

2. What new security risks does the proliferation of IoT devices introduce? The increasing use of IoT devices such as smart sensors and cameras adds more entry points to a business network. Many IoT devices have weak passwords, outdated software, or limited security features, making them easier for attackers to compromise. Once compromised, these devices can be used to steal data, spy on operations, spread malware, or disrupt business services.

3. What will be the single greatest cyber security challenge for digital businesses in the next five years? The biggest challenge will likely be AI-powered cyberattacks.
